About Us

Leanne Hall

Sport Rehabilitator - Currently Works Thursday at JP Therapy

Hello everyone! My name is Leanne, and I'm thrilled to join the JP Injury and Rehab Clinic as your new Sports Rehabilitator.

My journey into sports rehabilitation is rooted in my own athletic career, having competed as a Track Sprint Cyclist at a high national level at the Manchester Velodrome. My dedication and passion for cycling were recognised when I was selected for the GB Development Team from 2015-2016. Beyond my personal achievements, I've had the honour of working as a Tandem Pilot in Para-cycling, securing several British Titles alongside extraordinary para-athletes who've inspired me every step of the way. Cycling was more than just a sport for me; it was a gateway to my career, especially after navigating through my own set of injuries. These experiences fueled my interest in understanding the body's healing process and how to support athletes in their recovery.

I graduated from Bolton University in 2022, where I had the privilege of working alongside elite athletes and teams, including the SCFC 1st team, British Taekwondo, Wigan Warriors, and the Bolton Injury Clinic. Each experience has enriched my knowledge and honed my skills in sports rehabilitation.

Taking the leap to start my own business, LH Sport Rehab, was a dream come true, and it's led me here today. I'm eager to bring my background in elite athletics and comprehensive rehabilitation experience to serve and support our clients at JP Injury and Rehab Clinic.

About Us

Helen Hyde

Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

I am thrilled to be a part of the team at JP Therapy. With 17 years of experience working in the NHS, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role as an Occupational Therapist, specialising in Hand Therapy for clients with Orthopaedic and Rheumatology conditions.

As an Occupational Therapist, my primary goal is to help individuals achieve independence and improve their quality of life. This often involves working with clients to develop or regain the skills necessary for daily living and working. I offer home visits to assess clients in their home environment and individualised treatment plans.

As a Hand Therapist, I focus on the assessment and treatment of hand and upper limb conditions. My approach combines therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, pre-fabricated splints and the use of adaptive devices to enhance function, reduce pain, and support recovery from injuries or surgeries.

In addition to my work in Hand Therapy, I am also trained in Reiki and Reflexology. Reiki is a gentle, energy-based therapy that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports the body’s natural healing processes. Reflexology involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet which correspond to different organs and systems in the body, to encourage overall health and well-being. These can be provided as a stand-alone single treatment or a treatment programme depending on a client's individual needs.

I am passionate about offering a holistic approach to therapy, addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of my client’s well-being. For more information about my services, please visit my website at www.hhrehab.co.uk.

I look forward to working with you at JP Therapy and supporting you on your journey to better health
